Policies
STUDIO POLICIES, RULES, AND REGULATIONS.
Personal Belongings:
The MVMNT Society (“MVMNT”) is in no way responsible for your personal belongings while you are present in the studio. You assume all risk of loss for any of your personal belongings.
Dress Code:
You are required to arrive with appropriate personal hygiene and workout attire (i.e., with grip socks for Mat Sculpt and Barre classes, clean sneakers for all other classes, and comfortable activewear). Grip socks are available for purchase at the studio.
No individual will be allowed to participate in inappropriate attire and must be free of excessive perfume or body odor. We reserve the right to determine at our discretion what is and is not appropriate attire and hygiene for class participation.
Class Cancellations:
You must unreserve from class at least two (2) hours prior to the start of class time. If you cancel after that time, you will lose your class credit and the applicable Late Cancel fee of $15.00 will be charged to the card on file. If you miss a class without cancelling before the start of class, you will be charged a No-Show Fee of $20.00. You may unreserve from class online, from the MindBody app, or by emailing mvmntteam@themvmntsociety.com.
No Late Entry:
You must be physically present at the start of class. If you arrive to the studio after the start of class, you will be denied entry. If there is a waitlist for the class, your reserved space will be forfeited and may be given to another participant.
Waitlist:
If you are on a waitlist and a spot becomes available at least two (2) hours prior to the start of class time, you will be automatically booked into class and notified via email. Once you are removed from the waitlist and added to the class, the Policies regarding Cancellations apply.
Membership Packages:
Persons who purchase ANY single classes, introductory offers, class packs, unlimited memberships, or future promotional programs or packages, are subject to the penalty charges for Late Cancels and No Shows.
Membership Refund:
All fees are pre-paid and non-refundable except as described in this agreement, the MVMNT Policies, or as required by law. The fees and terms of access for each of our membership levels, are set forth in the MVMNT Policies in force at the time you make any purchases or renew.
Membership Freeze:
Members can request a freeze on an Unlimited Membership with a 12-month commitment for up to one (1) month for a fee of $50. Members must provide thirty (30) days advance notice to freeze their account. For medical freezes, including before and after childbirth, members are afforded a 1-month complimentary freeze to be extended on a case-by-case basis provided proper documentation.
Retail Refund:
Unused merchandise will be accepted for a full refund within seven (7) days of purchase. Returns will not be acceptable without a receipt or if the tags have been removed.
Recurring Class Pack and Membership Cancellation:
You may cancel Auto-Pay for a recurring Class Pack or an Unlimited Membership with 30 (thirty) days advanced notice, however, there will be no refunds for any payments made or earned before the expiration of such 30-day period. All Auto-Renew Class Pack and Membership Cancellations must be submitted in writing and emailed to mvmntteam@themvmntsociety.com. Membership must be in active (not frozen) at the time of cancellation request. There is no additional fee for cancelling Auto-Pay on a Recurring Class Pack. Cancellation of an Unlimited Membership with a 3-month Commitment incurs a fee equivalent to the rate for one month of that membership, and cancellation of an Unlimited membership with a 12-month Commitment incurs a fee equivalent to the rate for two months of that membership.
FEES.
You acknowledge that MVMNT charges fees for its services, and subject to the applicable law, MVMNT reserves the right to change its fees from time to time in its discretion.
Late Cancel Fee:
You will lose your credit and be charged $15 per late cancel incident if you cancel your class reservation after the 2-hour cancellation window.
No Show Fee:
You will lose your credit and be charged $20 per incident if you do not arrive to class and do not cancel or notify the studio prior to the class.
Failed Auto-Pay Fee:
You will be charged $25 per incident of a failed Auto-Pay.
